HIV/AIDS Project

Children are still dying of HIV/AIDS in Africa. Help us fight this disease in Zambia.

Hope Building in Kaoma (Western Province)

Our Center for Global Initiatives is fighting the untimely death of children with HIV/AIDS.  We are collaborating with local government officials, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and volunteers in Kaoma to address the gaps in providing treatment to children living with HIV/AIDS.

Sadly, less than 50% of children with HIV/AIDS in Zambia are on lifesaving treatment.

Fighting HIV/AIDS

HIV/AIDS and geography is a deadly combination for children living in remote Kaoma villages. They have to walk many miles (up to 8 hours) to the nearest health center that provides HIV/AIDS treatment.

HIV/AIDS is the #1 health problem in Mukoke Village

The Daniel Society’s project will ensure that children living in such village receive lifesaving treatment and health education that promotes health responsibility.
